I absolutely love your videos! I also have an hedgehog house and there’s currently hedgehog living in it at the moment! May I please ask what house do you use for hedgehog? I really want to put camera in the hedgehog house. Thanks

That's what a sudden panic in the nest for no reason will do to you! Blink, and you might miss it!

What I think has happened here was, that the chicks got startled by something, then the parent came in and when It flew out, the fledglings panicked and left the nest box in a hurry. And the remaining two weren't really sure what to do then. It was contact-calling it's siblings a lot!

Thank you NatureTec for giving us the opportunity to witness a small part of the lives of these fascinating little birds. Apple is a remarkable bird, I can't remember the exact numbers but she had close to 40 chicks, (maybe even more). There are many Apple-Pies and Apple-Strudels flying around in the area. Pie and Strudel were magnificent fathers and Apple is a miracle of nature, a doting and loving mother. Over the 3 years, it was so wonderful to see them raise their chicks and I guess the mystery of Apples blue-fluff, will forever remain her secret.💙💙💙

Wie jedes Jahr immer was ganz besonderes 😍😍😍

They were looking as if they'd maybe stay another day and then all of a sudden there was a fledge rush!

That was the quickest fledging. After Apple pulls the poop out they were all watching. It just caused them to go into a frenzy and leave the nest. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 With the first clutch with and Pie she laid an egg in the middle of the clutch and they fleged shortly after. She has some interesting tactics but they work to get them out fast.
